HaiLa Recognized as a Finalist in the Startup of the Year Category and Charlotte Savage, Founder & CIO, Recognized as a Finalist in the Rising Star Category
Montreal, Quebec, Jun 4, 2024 – HaiLa Technologies Inc. today announces it has been named a finalist in the Startup of the Year category and Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, Charlotte Savage, has been named a finalist in the Rising Star category of the 2024 Best of Sensors Awards. The awards program is presented by Sensors Converge and Fierce Electronics and honors the best in sensor technologies and the sensor ecosystem, people and companies.
“We are absolutely thrilled and very honored to receive both nominations for the 2024 Best of Sensors Awards. Our team of dedicated, world-class technologists and business leaders has worked very hard as a startup to realize extreme low-power RF communications chips capable of reducing and, ultimately, eliminating batteries used in wireless sensor devices,” said Patricia Bower, HaiLa VP Product Management. “Originally identified as a critical need for meeting net-zero goals for multiple end-users across a wide range of applications, HaiLa’s founder, Charlotte Savage, continues to lead the charge towards the goal of connecting the next generation of ambient-powered sensors and mitigating the impact of battery waste”.
Charlene Soucy, Senior Director, Technology – Sensors & Electronics said, “Congratulations to the Class of 2024 finalists. The judges were extremely impressed with the innovative products, technologies, teams, and people submitted. We look forward to bringing our community together June 24-26 to celebrate the best of the best in our industry at Sensors Converge”.
Submissions were judged based on the value to the marketplace, the impact of the problems it solves or issues it addresses and the uniqueness of the design. Award winners will be announced on June 25 at Sensors Converge in Santa Clara.
